John Woodman is an English painter. He has exhibited across the United Kingdom and internationally, in such places as Westminster Abbey. In 2010 he was an artist in residence in the McGuffey Art Centre in Virgina, USA. He has worked on a number of projects with American poet and classicist Ben Jasnow, including Ancient Songs, Modern Muses which was exhibited in the Bridge PAI in Virginia in 2013. His work has been chosen for the Discerning Eye Prize and he graduated from the Glasgow School of Art in 2006.


His most recent exhibitions took place in Robinson College, Cambridge, and Westminster Abbey. The Westminster exhibition involved an artistic event revolving around the Grave of the Unknown Warrior.


He lives and works in London.
